| Second part of my moleskine. |
[19 Jul 2008|02:14pm] |
This is my second post here and it really just is the second part of my moleskine. I can't wait until it's finished, I feel really restricted with the small pages in this. I really did love it at first, but now I'm looking for a bigger journal. Anyone have any suggestions? Particularly looking for shops in the U.K. Onto the journal!
Enjoy!

Hey, I'm heading off to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic very, VERY early tomorrow morning and I just wanted to share a few more-recent journalings. One I finished tonight that's fairly simple that I really like but I'll save that for after the trip.
comments/critiques/friends welcome :]

Hello to all you moleskine users! I loveandadore my moleskine, however, last night I realized that the black leather has completely come away from the paper. Everything is still intact and I think I managed to fix it (for now). This happen to anyone else? Is it normal? Because no matter how much I love the journal, not exactly worth the $22 for something that, forty pages to the end, will end up falling apart. And, as I am almost finished this journal, anyone have any journals that they abslolutely love? I might give the moleskine another chance, but just in case... One more: I've been in Quebec for the last six weeks, and saving everything that I can find. How have you that have travelled managed the things for journalling? Created a new journal? Mix them into your daily journal?
Thanks for giving time! Keep up the amazing journalling. You guys are soooo inspiring!!

| 07.17.08--last night's journal page |
[18 Jul 2008|12:28pm] |

Here's a journal page I did last night. I did most of this in bed last night while using my little table top easel on top of my breakfast-in-bed tray thingy. It worked pretty well. (I use the table-top easel so I don't have to look down while I work.)
The color looks a little flat in the scan . .. it's much richer in real-life.

| I can't draw, and I want to show the world that. |

Hey everyone. :) I've posted here many times before, but my style always changes so I don't blame you for not remembering me! My journal is very text-heavy, interjected with drawings and stuck-in bits of paper and so on. I usually post whole pages, but today I wanted to focus on the little drawings scattered throughout my pages. I can't draw. I am not an artist. But I love to draw, and I thought it was about time my little scribbles got some recognition. :p

I was super stressed out this week, thus resulting in many many doodles. They're huge pictures. Beware.

This year I went to NYC in the fall to visit some museums and galleries and I took a new moleskine around to keep notes/sketches. Then I spent five weeks in Italy (I just got back on July 4th) and I brought my moleskine with me... I thought I'd share some of the more interesting pages from the New York trip from what I'm now considering my "Travel Journal." (I'll post the Italy ones later because there are just too many)

so, lets see here
i got a hefty raise + promotion at work. i dont have to fuck around with cds and movies anymore and i can just focus on selling so i'm pretty happy about that. i'm also eligible for monthly bonuses so i'm gonna start making lots of money. i'm finding it very hard to make new friends. i dont know if i suddenly got weird as fuck or i've just never been put in this position, but it kinda sucks. oh well. my mom broke her leg last night, which really sucks. it must hurt like fucking crazy. i've just been around since then trying to help out as much as i can. overall though things are alright, i'm gonna start making some changes that will hopefully make life sweet.

It's been quite awhile since my first post... Only a few weeks after I posted it, second semester jumped me and stole every bit of free time I had by shoving 3 intense studio classes (plus others..), neverending rehearsals and concerts, and every. single. sickness. i could have pppppppossibly caught. It was ridiculous.
however, i do believe it's summer. and even though i'm working every day, I have been able to do a little journaling. :)
friends would be suuuper this time round. :) I'm using my livejournal to post up my photography and things again. chelsey
