china is notorious for being EXTREMELY cruel to any and every type of animal, but who the fuck mutilates bears? i just read about this process where they cut open a bear's stomach and extract bile and they leave the wound open so that they can extract bile daily. they leave them in cages about as big as the bear itself, there are thousands of bears in bile extracting facilities.
i don't understand why the US supports such a country. aside from the fact that they are terrible to their own people, tibet people, animals and the environment, a lot of the shit we buy from them is lead-tainted and unsafe anyways.
i just really don't get it
